Set on the eve of the Second World War, The Babylon Code tells a timeless story of discovery. A most unlikely spy, Danielle Dawson has finished college and joined the British Secret Intelligence Service. Together with her station chief, Elliott Owen, she engages in a deadly game of deception against Nazi agents on a quest to solve the greatest mystery of the ancient world.

Embarking on a dangerous mission, Danielle and Elliott realize that the treasure map is protected by a mysterious secret code. Can they recover the map and solve the code before the Nazis can find the ancient artifact at the heart of their scheme?

The code carries Danielle from the hill towns of Galilee down into the tunnels beneath Jerusalem, where a spring has kept its secrets since the age of kings. But someone inside her own service has been selling her movements to the enemy. The deeper she goes, the fewer people above ground she can trust.

The trail of clues leads into the Judean Desert, to a ruined fortress above the Dead Sea. Danielle and Elliott arrive to find the Germans already digging. What lies at the end of the Babylon Code is not gold, and not what either side came to find. Some things are hidden to keep them safe. Some things are hidden to keep them from being understood.
